Is Slack popular?

Just wondered as i dont hear much about #Slack these days, ive built some scripts and bots for them in the past and just wondered if it was worth making some bots for use in WPDA and #Slack

Does anyone use it much nowdays?

yeah, there are programmers, as LiteSpeed, who use it these days. But I cant affirm "worth it", depends..

As far as I know, Slack is the most popular SaaS chat. Their new "huddle" feature is very nice to do pair programming and debug problems together.

I use it daily, for work and an open source project. I made some nice webhook integrations for our monitoring system.

For social chat I'm in a few Discords, but their desktop version takes so much screen space, it's hard to combine with getting work done. I would not recommend it for business.
