Is there any reason *not* to use Nginx/Apache?

On my first DirectAdmin machine I opted to go with Litespeed (paid) and it's worked fine.

I'm setting up a second box this weekend, and it will primarily serve traffic for a fairly busy forum. Is there any reason not to use Nginx/Apache over straight Apache?

After some searching I'm not seeing any downsides, but if that was true then I'd think that would just be the default setting, so I'm probably missing something.

Only downside is that you need to compile two things when updating. Apache built with mpm event is fast as nginx.
