There is a market out there of newbies looking to break free of the likes of Gmail and Microsoft.

There is a plethora of Linux distros and each come with some type of clean install error that requires technical knowledge.

At this point I have determined that no one in this forum can agree on which distro is best for new DA clients that don't have the technical.

Would it not be time for the Direct Admin team to release a stable ISO Image that has been tested thoroughly?

I've spoke to Hetzner Cloud who are more than happy to add a DA Personal Plus ISO image.

This win-win scenario encourages YouTuber's, end users and the revenue team at DA.

Why has this not already happened?

Also a reason might be development. If DA is to create their own ISO images, it's extra work and development again, which brings extra costs making Directadmin more expensive.
It's one of the reasons that cPanel is more expensive as they have their own rpm's.

Also it's a professional hosting system, at least some basic knowledge might be expected when starting a business.

I am referring to the Direct Admin Personal Plus package, which is a great alternative for people just wanting to host their own emails on a domain or two.

However, I do see your point with regards to the costs. DA Personal Plus at 5 bucks a month is not really major income either.

That's meant need more money for development.
Yep, that's what I said, more development, more extra work so extra costs.

Correct, but even then a slight bit of Linux basic knowledge would be fine. They are making it more easy every time to install for beginners, especially the last 5-6 years.

I don't know if you know the history, probably not, but DA was the first one ever of the professional panels, creating a packages for hobbyists, then called the personal package, which is now gone agian and only the personal plus is left.
Before that not a single panel had something like that, while a lot of hobbyists was eager to get something better than the free panels out there.
Then the others followed because they had to, but they can't compete pricewise.

Together with the more features and simplifying install for all licenses, it can't be done all together and due to the effort and cost I don't think DA will ever make their own rpm's. However they will keep try to make installations easier.

And there is also good support on the forums and there is ticket support for those licenses, so help is there in every way if needed.
