Javascript not working?

No matter what I do on akeeba backup (joomla) or fresh install of joomla 1.6, my sites just refresh/reload. Nothing happens. I'm not a novice web designer or new to computers the PHP is all correct as well for both installers.

My server info:
Dedicated Server
Debian OS
PHP, SQL, etc are all intact and up to date.
Full server control

There should be no reason for this to be doing this when it JUST WORKED a day ago.

All I did since then was set, as root, my permissions to my correct username and group for my domains which fixed a prior quota issue (even though I was unlimited).

I am new to linux but I have learned all basic commands in a few days. = Google will help me if I don't know something.

PLEASE HELP.
 
Let me rephrase

What I have done:
  • I have had THREE people go to http://pixelcobra.com/installation/index.php
  • ALL THREE reported that when clicking the next button it does nothing but refresh or just stick at "Loading..."
  • I have tested three browsers
  • I have completely deleted, re-installed, multiple versions of the installation. Ones that have come directly from Joomla.org as brand new installations STABLE versions only, no one else has my issue on their forums.
  • I posted on their forums with no luck for anyone to figure out what's going on.

Now then can you kindly tell me how it's possible for DirectAdmin to be able to effect this?

And what has it with Javascript?
 
I was unsure if it was java or something else. Because even when I fix my permissions and the error goes away, I still can't install because the page just refreshes. Again I have had multiple people attempt to click next with the same feedback.
 
I see that, but still can say nothing about Akeeba Backup Installer. Never seen it before. You'd better check error logs for pixelcobra.com, probably it will help somehow, or check with Akeeba's docs.
 
It's for Joomla. It works 100% on another server. The error log doesn't have any errors that are recent. All errors are from January.
 
Did you check /var/log/httpd/domains/pixelcobra.com.error.log? The logfile is rotated every night by default, it should not have errors from January.

This is my issue there is no real error.. It's just not loading. Users cant login either when on our sites because they're all built with Joomla.
 
Sorry, no more ideas. Perhaps, somebody here has some variants. Or you can hire somebody to look at your settings.
