joomla installation

Hey everybody,

I'm a rookie in making website and I want to get joomla working on my website. What I did so far is put all the joomla folders ( which i downloaded from the website ) in my [myusername]/domains/[domainname]/public_html/ folder but when I try to enter my website I get error 403.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this and get the instalation working?

btw my webhost allows joomla and everything needed is installed, I work with DirectAdmin v1.33.7

If your hosting company offers Installatron (ask them) then the best way to install Joomly is by using that; it's pretty-much a one-click install.

Otherwise you have to follow the instructions provided by the people who develop Joomla.

Your provider may be willing to check their logs and get a specific error for you.
