Greetings,

I just bought a dedicated server filled with fedora, mysql, php, smtp, ect...

When I buy directadmin, does the website install it for me, or I will have to do it myself?

Also, to buy the lifetime membership (can I use it for unlimited domain names?)

any what are the requirements before installing directadmin.

Thank you in advance,

Peace,

EDIT: when I tried to purchase a panel it asked me for: hostname (what is that).

it also asked for dns information, and when I enter what I got:

ns1.primarydns.com 216.219.239.7

it gives me the javascript error.

Congratulations. Please don't shout (use bold); we'll see and respond to a quiet message, too.

The DA staff will install it for you if you prefer.

A license is per server. So you can use it for as many domains as you can host on one server.

You can find system requirements here.

It's the name of the server. It should not be something like "www.example.com", but rather one.example.com or two.example.com (for example). I name my servers da1, da2, etc., followed by a "." and the name of my domain.

Enter just the names, and NOT the IP#.

Hi, thanks for the answer..

Mark already helped me setup the server. (very nicely)

I am just facing a small problem (I think its because of propgration). The webmail is working fine, but when I use it on Becky mail client its not good.. Gives me: ERR: bad login (after checking for password).

The information I enter is as follows:

mail.marsaldesign.com for both the SMTP and POP3.

username: [email protected] and the password, keeping in mind that the admin email is working fine with becky.

Thanks for your help,

P.S.: sorry for the shouting... never meant to
