I recently deployed a new server and went for DirectAdmin, I then upgraded Mysql to v5 same with PHP.
While I was doing that I also upgraded to apache 2.2, I've just been told to downgrade to apache 1.3 and upgrade to the latest version of zend by my server provider who also provided me with the DA license.
I'm currently using the custombuild script as you know I'm limited to which builds of php, mysql and zend I can choose.
So are there any reasons why I should downgrade apache, and any reasons why I should upgrade zend. There must be a reason why DirectAdmin haven't upgraded their zend files.

If there any DirectAdmin staff who would like to know which provider told me to do this, PM me.

Thanks,

What was the reason for you to downgrade it? That makes no sense at all.

SSH doesn't have anything to do with Apache. And I cannot think of any reason why Apache would prevent the whole server from booting. Something could be wrong with the Apache configuration which would prevent Apache from starting but this should not affect the rest of the server.
