I went with a new webhost that uses directadmin, all I want to do is create content but I feel I have to learn how to run an ISP.

Do I have to create resellers and packages to be able to start creating my sites, or can I do everything with the admin account.

If anybody knows of a beginner's directadmin site that can help I would appreciate it.

What kind of an account do you have? If you've signed up with a webhosting company you should only log into a user account. You shouldn't have a reseller or admin section. Do you?

Or have you signed up as a reseller?

Your hosting company may have help pages specific to their own setups, and perhaps even flash video tutorials.

Thes forums are designed for server administrators who use the DirectAdmin control panel to run their hosting companies.

its a dedicated computer, I have admin+reseller+user access but all i want to do is create web. I'm digging at it right now and it looks like I don't need to touch the reseller stuff to be able to do what I want to do.
