hello everyone!
I'm looking into moving from a vds to a full dedicated box at layeredtech.com. Speaking with their sales they say that they use a special partition layout for FreeBSD. I was just wonder what peoples opinion on this layout was. They said they found this layout works well for most control panels.
512 MB /
256 MB /var/tmp
256 MB /tmp
2 GB swap
5 GB /var
15 GB /usr
remainder /home
My current VDS runs centos and is setup with the suggested DA partition layout of
swap 2 x ram
/ rest of the drive
so I've never had to worry about partition issues.
TIA
