Hi,

Does anyone know how to force a licence update, aparently a licence has been changed (the name that it's in) however when I update from DA the update date stays the same and the changes are not made.

Also, if you can tell me how to delete the licence and re-licence it, that may be the solution.

Any ideas?

I'm presuming you had DA change the name in the license.

If so, did they leave you with the same UID and LID?

My understanding is that the control panel won't attempt to update a license if the validity (by date) is current.

As root:

cd /usr/local/directadmin/scripts
./getLicense.sh UID LID

of course replacing UID with your user ID and LID with your license ID.

You should check your account here first, because if your IP# doesn't match the one DA has assigned, DA will stop working.

Was a bit pissed off at first, but realised I needed to restart DA too for it to take effect.
