License error

Hey everyone,

New to DA, thought I'd give it a go. Got a VPS, used the hosting provider's image to install DA, tried to migrate a few domains from cpanel, got an error saying I could only install 1 domain, so reinstalled OS with Ubuntu, purchased a personal plus license direct from DA, installed DA with the license key provided, and DA says invalid license. See screenshot. I've opened a ticket, but no answer so far. Need to get this sorted today otherwise I'll have to look for another panel and request a refund for non-existing DA license.

You might have been answered already, but if not, try this as root via SSH.
/usr/local/directadmin/scripts/getLicense.sh '12345467'

replace the number with your real license key, and don't remove the ' characters. Best is to copy and paste your license key to prevent errors. Doublecheck if it's correct.
Issue the command, see if it gives an error and if not, wait a minute and see if the problem has gone.

Be sure you start this, also make sure your date/time of the server is correct.
 
I ran systemd-timesyncd
timezone was wrong, so I changed that, ran timedatectl, now showing:

I then ran /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/getLicense.sh '12345467'
made sure the correct key was between the ' '
No error.

left it 5 minutes, went to try and login and get below:

I really think it might be a billing issue as I can't find an invoice for this key. Ugh, I've got 80GB to migrate within 24 hours.
 
Hahaha, turns out it was a Paypal issue. It was showing as Pending. Made another payment and license is now active
Be sure to mention that in the ticket. If all is well you can also close the ticket yourself.
It's very busy in ticket support.
 
Thanks Richard, Mark had already responded to my ticket as I was finding out the issue myself.
