Limit CPU - Resource Usage for domain - user

Hi,

Is there any way to limit cpu usage for domains / users for CentOS 5.4?

apache / httpd pids using %90 of cpu generally, i need to get avoid of that.

I found cpulimit from this forum but i didnt used it yet, it didnt seemed me usefull for limiting just apache's usage, anyone used or have some more information about cpulimit? or anything else?

I searched everywhere all night and day but cant find anything useful, there are threads opened since 2004 about limiting cpu, i hope somebody solved this situation at least

btw. i didnt optimized apache or anything at all, stock da settings

How is killing the process going to solve anything? If you kill your webserver because it is busy that is pointless. Find out why it is busy.
 
How can i find out why it is busy that much? There are lots of sites in it i just can optimize apache but i dont know how to do it exactly, anyone know a good source that i can get, learn something about it? google is too complicated about that :) you know, internet is going to be junk you cand find what you search for these days.. thanks
