Hello,

is it possible to unlock some Top-Level-Domains (like .de, .com, .org, .net, .info etc.) in the Admin-Panel for Users and Resellers? At the moment I can fill any domain into the Admin-Panel (like write: blabla.net). But what If the user has a package with only .de, .com, .org and he fills in .biz? It's hard to track this for bills for the users. :-(

It would be nice if a admin can active some TLDs for Resellers and Resellers can active some of *this* TLDs for there users... Is it possible to implement something like this? I wonder why nobody is asking about this feature?

Benny

P.S.: Sorry for this bad bad english... ;)))

I know why I'm not answering it....

Why would you as a hosting company want to limit the top-level domains you're willing to host?

To me that would just cut my possible business.

It doesn't cost more to host any top level domain than it does any other.

Hiho,

sorry, but my ISPs where I register the domains don't have all TLDs all over the world! Ok, they have a hundred, but not all and they all have different prices. If a customer buys a small package, I want him to only choose .de for example, because the price is cheap enough to calculate the price of the package. I have some TLDs that cost a few hundred euros a year... I can't include this TLDs to packages for 5 euros a month... you know what I mean?

Hi,

I want this as an optional feature. If you don't need it you don't need to activate it. :)

You must attend that the webhosting market is different from country to country. In germany this feature is a "must have" for every Control-Panel because the hosting market request this feature... You know what I mean?

Two things:
1 - Like the others have suggested, why don't you simply tell your clients which TLDs you support from your registrar

2 - If you don't support the TLD what is to stop your client registering the domain elsewhere and simply using you for the hosting??
