Limiting file size?

I am looking to offer some free web hosting but I do not want to have people hosting huge files for download since that would raise my bandwidth costs.

Is there any way of limiting files by size with DirectAdmin, or could I disable FTP and have them use the file manager to limit size? Is there a limit to the file size when uploading through the file manager?

Also, while I'm at it, what are the different modules I could use to enforce ads on the web pages?

Give them a web-based form to upload via.

Then use the LimitRequestBody directive to restrict the size of files uploaded.

As for adverts.... Look at using mod_layout
