I am having trouble receiving email on a couple of my accounts. This is pretty strange, since this problem only affects a couple of domains/accounts, and I think it appeared after I updated my exim.conf to the most recent really-block-spam version.

I have gone through all logs, and the only thing I could find that might be related is the following entry, which appears some places:

2004-12-27 04:25:18 1CilVK-0001A6-Ag User 0 set for local_delivery transport is on the never_users list

Anyone know what this is?

Here is the error I get from www.dnsreport.com:
Could not connect: Got an unknown RCPT TO response: 550
when inserting the relevant email addresses. Only some of the addresses on some of the domains has this response. Others are working fine. I've checked with both Virtual accounts and forwards.

Any help appreciated!

Likewise, I have a lot of errors connected to
/etc/virtual/bad_sender_hosts

I haven't found any reference to this file in my exim.conf. Anyone know?

User "0" (see the error) is the root user. Exim will never send an email to the root user.

If you're not trying to send to root, make sure that the address you are trying to send to doesn't resolve to root.

bad_sender_hosts should be defined in the latest version of my exim.conf file.

Make sure the file /etc/virtual/bad_sender_hosts exists and has the same permissions as the other files with a _ in their name. It can be empty.
