Because I didn't complete the task needed to establish 2FA, I locked myself out at the screen in which it ask for my code to enter. It states that I'm able to enter the backup code but that also doesn't work. Is there any way I can get back in to my DirectAdmin?

Yes.
Login as root via SSH. Then check the following file:
/usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/ip_blacklistand remove your ip from there.
If it's for the admin account, then after the above, go to this file:
/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/admin/user.confand in that file set
twostep_auth=no and then you should be able to login normally again.And ofcourse you can enable 2fa again and set a new code.
