Log-Rotation

Every night apache is restarted because of the log rotation thing.

is there a way to do this log-rotation at a different time?

My peak times are usually from 23:00 till 02:00 , so restarting apache would cause problems for a lot of downloaders.

DirectAdmin forces the tally to be run nightly now, although I'm not sure what triggers it. If it's DirectAdmin's task manager, then you can't change it since that is run every minute by cron and also monitors service status etc.

Try adjusting the tally frequency, that might be the trigger and your solution:
