I have a user (userA) who's logs are being overwritten.

In
/home/userA/domains/usera.com/logs/ for March i see:

Date File
Mar 31 00:10 Mar-2006.1.tar.gz
Mar 30 00:10 Mar-2006.tar.gz
Mar 29 00:11 Mar-2006.5.tar.gz
Mar 28 00:11 Mar-2006.4.tar.gz
Mar 27 00:11 Mar-2006.3.tar.gz

and that's all. Rather than writing out the correctly dated file, it seems to be overwritting files up to the 5th day of the month and then starts writting a file for the 1st again.

anyone know what may be going on and how to fix?

thanks.

thought i'd bump this and see if anyone had any thoughts at all on this?

all other users' logs accrue normally on my server except for two users. See above for description.

Hello,

The numbers 1 through 5 are the log numbers, not days of the month.

If you go to Admin Level -> Admin Settings, there is an option called "number of apache logs to keep" which is likely set to 5.

DA will rotated these logs, deleting the oldest one and replacing it with a new log with the same name.

(this is normal)

If you want more logs, incrase the setting to a higher number (default is 5)
