I was on the internet and I came accross exittrade.com

Anyone else think the logo looks similar to DirectAdmin's logo?

Yes, but there's not much DirectAdmin can do about it, although I'm not in the legal department.
I don't think the dot structur, color etc have a trademark or copright on them.

Sure you can defend a logo or any other design.

But remember there are tons of places to buy logos (templatemonster for one) and you are not the only one who can buy it. Just because they are the same logo does not mean that someone ripped it off.
