lost email password to squirelmail

Hi i cant remember my email password to squirelmail and it dosent have an option to change it either :S

and if i try to delete the account it says it can not be deleted because its under the server or soemthing

please let me know thanks!
 
You manage email account passwords from within DirectAdmin. Squirrelmail is just an email client.
 
yes but i dont know how to change my password....and also when i send an email from my server to like hotmail or gmail it goes through....and if someone sends an email to my server it dosent come in to me and i dont have any spam filters on

please let me know asap thanks!
 
Mx looks ok. You will want to look in /var/log/exim/mainlog for any errors that might be occuring when sending emails to your email account.

If you can't delete the email account that's because it's the main account for the domain. If it's your server you can log in as either reseller or admin, and change the main password for the account there.

If you're not the owner of the server you need to ask your hosting provider.

ok great! got all the fixed...now one last thing when i send an email from my server to someone else how can i customize the name ex. you have received an email from SiteName.com or Website instead of it displaying the emails name? if this makes any sense

Are you asking about doing it with Webmail? You'll have to see if your webmail client offers the option. In Squirrelmail you do it under Options | Personal Information.
