Ok I built my site from Macromedia Fireworks then converted it to Dreamweaver, then tryed to upload it but it freezes. It worked A ok in IE when tested links n stuff. I should mention i know about 0 how to upload websites. My teacher skipped that lesson :( If anyone has some free time..id appreciate some help. I think i might be uploading it wrong and putting it on the wrong directories. SOS!

Hello!
I frequently work with DreamWeaver, and it has an FTP tool. Basically, youll need to setup the parameters, FTP HOST, USERNAME, PASSWORD.
Check F1 on Dreamweaver for help setting this up. Im sure after you get familiar with this DW tool all will be fine.

Getting Filemanager to recognize index.htm

Ok , I figured out how to upload the site...now the next task...now that the site is uploaded..how do I set my index.htm so that when I type www.texassportbus.com the page will pop up...I think I deleted the original public_html folder and made my own..therfore the permission setting might be wrong. How do I get the file manager to recognize index.htm as the home page.

well, you will first need to have your public_html dir created again, if youre not able to do this, you might need to ask your host to help you.
After you have that fixed, you just put your index.htm or index.html inside that folder. Thats it, your page will appear when you enter the domain in your browser.:)
