Mail A record

Hello,

When i create a new user on my server, the A record mail is not crerated, all the rest is ok, only that record dont i have to fix it voor al the new clients.

is ther a solution for this problem ?

You might want to check the file /usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/dns_a.conf (or the file with the same name in the 'custom' subfolder). It should contain a line that looks like 'mail=|IP|' (if it does not exist, add it). That should tell DA to create an A record 'mail' with the domain's IP when a new zone is added.

restore doesn't restore A mail IP

about mail A
I think there is a bug in newest DA version
The A mail IP is not restored with backup restore user.
