I have a dedicated server in france at ovh. Every website has an ip. I use immunify360.
I migrate panel to DA last year and until now it works properly.
OS is ubuntu (Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS "Focal Fossa").
OVH doesn't recomend directadmin for ubuntu. Is it correct or not?
After 01/13/23 mail doesn't work anymore.
Intodns give some information:
"MX name validity The MX records that do not seem valid hostname: _dc-mx.289d4032e576.domain.ch
This can cause problems"
I don't understand why it's written: _dc-mx.289d4032e576?
In directadmin panel everything seem correct but:
"nameserver 1ns1.server-ip.da.direct
ns2.server-ip.da.direct"
Is it normal?
or nameserver should be nsxxxxx.ip.eu?
Wathever is this relevant?
other hints:
most websites are under cloudflare and intodns says no word.
there is one website not under clouflare and intodns give information:
**
Name of nameservers are valid WARNING: At least one of your NS name does not seem a valid host name
The ones that do not seem valid:
ns1.server-ip.da.direct ns2.server-ip.da.direct
**
Different subnets WARNING: Not all of your nameservers are in different subnets
**
Different autonomous systems WARNING: Single point of failure
**
Not sure if the config was quite correct before 01/13/23 but the hotfix has created some disturbance.
I'm new with directadmin. The best way to fix that. I have access to all level.
thanks for helping
best regards
