mail error

i use WHMCS integrated to DirectAdmin. I have mail set to php mail. When i send a mail to the sales email adress of my website, i get a failure from php mail. The failure says email is coming from server1.hostjunkies.com.


SMTP error from remote mail server after MAIL FROM:<[email protected]>:
host cdptpa-smtpin01.mail.rr.com [75.180.132.243]:
554 5.1.8 - Domain of sender address [email protected] does not exist

My domian is hostjunkies.com. The directadmin hostname says server1.hostjunkies.com.

What is the problem?

For some reason rr.com (RoadRunner), thinks that server1.hostjunkies.com doesn't exist. It appears to exist for me now. Has the problem been resolved?

I finally figured it out. The SPF record was "v=spf1 mx ~all". I changed the ~ to a - and all is well.
