Mail issues

Not sure whats happened but my mail has stopped being able to receive/send mail.
I could send/receive mail without any issues until today.
I created a new Reseller account for one of websites. Tried to setup a twitter account, but the email wasn't arriving. Logged into the admin account to send a test message to the new websites email, and I got a 535 error and when trying to send to a gmail account I didn't.
I logged gmail and the email never arrived, i've checked the mail queues and nothing there. I also tried to send it a few more times just incase.

I changed my password and the 535 error has gone away. But I am still unable to send any mail to anyone on the vps, or outside.

I don't receive any emails when i try to send mail out, but when I tried to send mail from gmail to vps I got a 550 550 authentication required (state 14) failure email.

Any suggestions?

Sorry for the double post, it won't let me edit :/
Some of the emails appeared in the queue about 5 minutes ago. Which is about 20-30 minutes after I sent them.

Looking at the error log, sending out emails seems to think the addresses are unroutable and the log shows the authenication error as gmail did in the mail delivery email.
