Mail List Files Accessible?

I have a client asking if there's a way he could manage a mail list for his domain programmatically. I don't even know where the files exist, but I'm guessing the answer is no.

If not, any ideas on an alternative solution?

Are you asking about the Majordomo mailing list supplied with DirectAdmin? If so, the answer is that yes, it's possible, as Majordomo is defined entirely by files. However those files are not owned by your user, but rather by Majordomo, so you'll have to have a full understanding of ownership, rights, and permissions, and make necessary changes so your user has access to the files, which are located under /etc/virtual/example.com/majordomo, where example.com is replaced by the domain name in question.
