Mail problem with non eng characters

Hello,

I have problem with mail.

I was install DirectAdmin on new server Debian 5.0 Lenny.
DA was installed with default parameters with php5, dovecot, etc... .
(SpamAssassin not installed)
All work fine, but i cant send mail, if in mail subject have non english characters.

Example:
when i try send mail and his subject have russian characters like "абвгд", i get error in outlook express:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'абвгд', Account: 'mail.domain.ru', Server: 'mail.domain.ru', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

But with english characters mail work fine. And acept russian characters in mail body, if in mail subject only english characters.

How i can fix that?

well, I was fixed this problem be manualy recompile exim from source.
Problem more not exist.
