If this has been explained elsewhere, i apologize, as i have searched.
Here is my setup.
My main domain and website is hosted on a non DA box which is currently handeling my mail for the domain.
I have installed DA on 2 seperate shell servers, and they are a subdomain of my main domain. server1.domain.com etc...
As I installed hte users for their shells, they do not have domains, so I added them as a sub domain to another domain that I own and have assigned to the server. user1.domainuser.com for the user and server1.domainuser.com is added to an ip as well.
there is no reverse dns on the server1.domainuser.com or user1.domainuser.com ips, but is on the server1.domain.com ip.
Now with setting up mail to go out from the server and users to use their email associated in DA, I'm confused on the setup and where mx records should be pointing etc. Is it possible for the users to use the domainuser.com domain even though they are a subdomain of that account? Any suggestions would be aprpecaited.
