Mailbox Cleanup

Hi,

Is there an option to automatically clean up dovecot emailboxxes for clients that have not read / accessed their email in f.e. over a year?

I am aware that there is a tool allready preset in directadmin that should clean trash and junk, but i was wondering if this is also an option for the actual normal inboxxes.

Right now i am sitting on an average of 200GB of unread mail per server and i would love to delete them safely from the accounts if they are older then lets say 120 days unread.

I don't recall any tools being made available; I'm guessing they'd have to be complex as there are probably as many different criteria to use in chosing emails to delete as there are systems administrators.

I do recall one or more threads on these forums with script suggestions for cleaning mailboxes.

As always, be careful when you clean mailboxes that you're within your terms of service; don't give your users a cause of action against you.
