Mailing list for DA Version Updates

Can you establish a emailing list that people can subscribe to in order to alert us of DA version updates? Even a forum board that we could subscribe to would be great.

You can subscribe to any threads here on the forum and it will alert you via email. If people were to make posts in the updates section for instance it would alert you.

You can find the subscribe to this thread at the bottom of all thread sections.

That's why I suggested a new board just for version updates, so I could subscribe and get the alerts

Oh I thought you meant an entirely new install of forums not just a new section.

The mailing list exists. Search these forums for da-announce.

Here's your answer. I figured might as well answer the question rather then ONLY train them.

There's a mailing list available for learning about DirectAdmin updates.

It's managed by Majordomo.

To join, send an email to:

[email protected]

There's no need for a "subject" but you can use anything you want.

The body of the request should include one line:

subscribe da-announce

and nothing else, though you can have a sig, as long as it's preceeded by a line with only "-- " on it.

The list is double-opt-in so you will get an email with instructions to use if you really want to be on the list.
