DirectAdmin uses Majordomo as inbuilt mailing list. It's very difficult for anyone to create and start using a mailing list. Modifying the setting is also difficult as no help is present. Is there any detailed tutorial about it?
Atleast it should have support for a web interface (Majorcool) which makes it very easy to use.
I just created a mailing list as [email protected] but have no idea how to start using it. Can anyone help me out?

DirectAdmin should send a copy of "list-owner-info" when a new list is setup, but it doesn't.

There's a generic sample version of list-owner-info on my download server, here.

You can always install Majorcool yourself.

Majorcool doesn't appear to have been updated in years; you can find a copy of it on my download server, here.

I'm a virtual user. I'm not the admin of the server. I guess the admin can only implement majorcool at the webserver.
I have created a mailing list with name as [email protected]
After that I added some emails to the mailing list. When I send any email to [email protected] from those email addresses I get mailer-daemon. Why so? Even I tried mailing [email protected] with 'subscribe' as message, but I get mailer-daemon.
When I click on the modify list option I get so many options. What are Mungedomain, Precedence options used for?

Instructions for majordomo can be found at the majordomo site
here or in the list-owner-info file (see my post earlier in this thread).

If your majordomo aliases don't work the only folk who can resolve that for you are your hosting provider.
