I setup a mailing list called 'community'. When I send an email to [email protected] I get the email that has been added but I get a lot of garbage in the email too, like errors.

Anyone using this mailing list feature, if so, how to I correct this?

Thanks

Some errors are simply because there are lines in the subscribe email that Majordomo doesn't understand.

For example, it doesn't understand additional attachments; not even html attachments.

If you can post what you get, perhaps someone can be more specific.

OK - here is what I get when I SEND an email to [email protected]:

I just realized what the problem was - I use AVG for virus protection and it has to do with the way AVG checks the incoming email

Majordomo chokes on multi-part messages. You can install something called "deMime" if you want; how to do it is well beyond the scope of this forum.

hehe - I may look in to that - just wanted to make sure that everyone didn't get that double post.

Thanks for all the help!
