Hi,

recently, we have started seeing the following message in the emails sent by the email users of our firm.

MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from "www.anotherdomain.com" claiming to be www.Mydomain.com.

and also the word [disarmed] added in the subject of the emails.

Any solutions???

Do you host your own outgoing email server? If not, then you need to to check with your hosting company.

If you do host your own outgoing email server, then does it employ the DirectAdmin hosting control panel?

If not, then this is definitely the wrong forum.

If so, then this is probably still the wrong forum, as DirectAdmin neither installs, uses, nor supports MailScanner.

If you do own your own DirectAdmin based server for hosting your email, then feel free to write back with more information, and include all the headers from one of those emails as received.

And please don't double post; I've deleted your other thread, which you started yesterday in the wrong forum.
