mailscanner

Hi to all ,

I dont know if this post feets this forum but anyway if not please excuse me and move it to he proper forum .

Im getting this error after installing mailscanner/calm AV
nad configuring all the configs :

The mail log shows :

Feb 20 11:02:42 sn MailScanner[25642]: MailScanner E-Mail Virus Scanner version 4.26.8 starting...
Feb 20 11:02:42 sn MailScanner[25642]: /var/spool/exim.in/input is not owned by user 8

I Guess its pointless to mention that mails still getting viruses .
In short mailscanner isnt working .

ls -l /var/spool/exim.in/input
id mail

return?

I didnt quite get it , i run the 2 lines , does it suppose to fix anything ?
