Hello all,

I'm new to DirectAdmin and am trying to setup a single set of Nameservers to handle all my domains under one reseller. This simple feat seems to be eluding me.

Can anyone explain, in simple terms, how to do this in DA?

Thanks!

When you set up a reseller just set up the default nameservers for that reseller as ns1.example.com and ns2.example.com, where both are nameservers you've already set up elsewhere on the server.

You do NOT need two new IP#s; just use the names and IP#s you've already set up.

Thanks for the reply.

My problem is in setting up the main DNS at the Admin level. I'm putting in what seems logical and now my main domain doesn't resolve at all after repointing from the registrar.

The only way to help you is if you tell us the domain name, the nameservers it's supposed to use, and the IP#s those nameservers are supposed to resolve to.

Primary Domain: jalberts.net
NS IPs: 207.99.0.1 & 207.99.0.2
Not sure about the actual NS I'm supposed to use, but I would assume it's ns1.jalberts.net and ns2.jalberts.net
