Main Domain/SSL help please

Hi guys,
I'm new to DA and came from Gentoo for automation etc...

My host host.domain.com which will go into the default vhost of DA...
I created a reseller/user account for my domain.com
I have SSL cert for my domain.com

I have read the knowledgebase and looked over using ssl for DA...
But I can't seem to grasp how to set this up using my domain.com user account
at /home/MAIN-USER/domains/domain.com/public_html/ which i want to link the private with it...

Can someone please give me some advice and or any links to where someone has this setup...

If someone has an SSL cert for the main domain DA is installed under, please let me know the best way to set this up...

In the ssl setup section after you enable it there is an option to link the ssl to the non ssl folder.

Says this "Use a symbolic link from private_html to public_html - allows for same data in http and https"
