A lot of my clients with poor internet connection got this problem receiving mail. The connection times out and did not end properly. When they try to reconnect, the got “Please login message”, like they password would be wrong. After some time (2-3 minutes) mailboxes work again.
Now I think that they can’t re-login because of flock still locking the inbox file and not allow anyone (including Exim himself) to access it. My question is, is it possible to rid off the “Relogin” window somehow? Make flock auto-release time smaller or make Exim auto-disconnect time longer?
