hi
i have directadmin server which i connect via browser in port 2222
im kind of new in all this
just wanted to know 2 things
i want to make directory which will be public and open to all
such as ftp pub or something
is there any special permission that i need to configure so it will be public?
because i want to upload many files and if i upload them to the public_html folder it will be too snafu.
and another question how can i open my own ftp via DA?
thanks!!

See the DirectAdmin Site-Helper FTP documentation, and create anonymous ftp. If you can't, then check with your hosting company; it's something they either allow or disallow.

oh thanks. i read it
just it seems way to old guide since the direct admins now are totally diffrent
that's why i didn't understand this:

Code:
Enabling Anonymous Access

To enable anonymous FTP access, click the "Anonymous FTP settings" link in the main FTP menu. You will be taken to a screen that looks like this:

where in earth i should have "Anonymous FTP settings"? there is no such thing in the DA
i only have this options
regards.

@skeptic:

If it's your server check your reseller level package for your account. If it's not your server check with your hosting company, as they decide what you can and can't do.
