Making folders public

Ok, I tried the solution with the .htaccess or w/e and it still doesnt work. I tried putting the file in all the folders too and it still wont work. Please help me, I want my folders public!

Make sure you've typed everything correctly.

If you're using the standard httpd.conf file, it pretty much has to work.

If you've made changes, then anything's possible.

I strongly suggest having an experienced sysadmin look at the server.
