Hi all, its 3am and I am having some serious greif trying to migrate a direct admin server.
I have a Centos 3.5 server running DA 1.27.4, for some strange reason I cannot login to t his box, it simply hangs at password both from terminal or over ssh.
So, I booted into single user mode, which works fine, and started the directadmin, httpd and network services manually.
Now I can login to my directadmin over http, however! I now need to backup my users data and migrate it to a new server that does not have this fault.
Is there any way to do this from the cmd line? if so please point me in the right direction?
Also, any ideas what services I might need to start to get reseller level backups operational in single user? I have tryed starting httpd directadmin crond and network but it does not seem to be doing anything when I request the backups.
Is there any way to view what jobs are on the 'backup queue'?
Any ideas why I can login to my Centos 3.5 box fine from single user but not from terminal or ssh? cant find anything in logs, also my load soars very quickly when I boot properly but in single user it sits at 0.00
