mariadb and jemalloc

I use CB2 for installing MariaDB, and it installed jemalloc too. However, checking with pmap doesn't show jemalloc loaded. Command

pmap <mysql-PID> |grep jemalloc

returns nothing.

For configuration, in /etc/my.cnf, I already have

[mysqld_safe]
malloc-lib=/usr/lib64/libjemalloc.so.1

Any idea why jemalloc is not loaded? MariaDB 10.5 on CloudLinux 7.9, jemalloc 3.6

Old jemalloc? Because CB2 builds MariaDB with that version...

On their official git account it's version 5.2.1: Releases · jemalloc/jemalloc · GitHub

That version 3.6.0 is more than 6 years old.

Anyway you should check the logs to check what happens on boot time. There should be a clue.
