Masking a URL redirect

Hi folks.

I've just used the DirectAdmin cPanel to do a redirect to a new website, however, I can't find a setting in the cPanel to mask the redirect's URL. In this case the www.bramptonconcertband.com domain is redirected to www.bramptonconcertband.squarespace.com but, when I have done redirects in the past with GoDaddy's cPanel I could set the redirect so that the address always still says just www.bramptonconcertband.com.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've moved your thread to amore appropriate forum, where it might get more attention. If I want to do this I create a zero-height fram to call the target domain. The problem of course is that my solution doesn't change the URL when you move from page to page, so visitors don't know where they are, and bookmarking is impossible.

One way to do what you want would be to use a dedicated IP# for the target site, and not even set up the pointer name, but simply create DNS to point it to the same IP#.

But I admit I'm a server administrator, not a webmaster.

Any other ideas?

Jeff
