Massive (15GB) IMAP transfer caused bad bandwidth statistics

Something strange happened with one account. We were transferring 15GB e-mails from one server to another using regular imap program. Today the account ended up suspended for bandwidth overusage with (quote) 17592186043% over the limit (I think that 100GB was the original limit).
