Message system disabled for admin

Hello, I recently made a few updates with Custombuild via the Directadmin panel.

But strangely, the Message system is disabled.
There are 44 unread messages, but when I click on them I get a "feature is disabled" error. Moreover, I am logged in as admin.

What could cause this and how can I fix it?

Please search forums before posting (or via Google), this has come up already a couple of times.

Seems this fixes it:

Unable to access Messages.

I can't access to messages. it show error " Feature Disabled This feature has been disabled. Please, contact your administrator." How do I enable the feature?

Great! let me explain the steps in easy way for other who see this thread in future

Steps to fix the issue
1. Login as admin
2. Under "Admin Tools" you will see option "Customize Evolution Skin" , just click on it
3. Once new page opens , you will see "RESET TO DEFAULTS" option , just click on it.
Now issue fixed.
