I already tried disabling the support center but I felt it was better to remove the support link. DA requireds to you to put in a link to 3rd party helpdesk if the built-in is disabled.
Regarding the message center, I have my own message center so I don't want my customers to be confused with two different messaging systems so I removed it too.
Also, I modified the link to site-help.com to point to my support center instead and now my customers only have to click on the Help icon to get assistance for everything.
