Is it possible to migrate an installation from one server to another server? What steps would be involved?
We currently use DA under UML with Red Hat 9.0 as the OS. We have a month to month license for DA purchased from the host.
We have leased a server from another company and have purchased a lifetime license for DA. We have not yet been authorized to run the setup script and therefore have not installed DA.
Would it be possible to move the existing installation to the new computer and then just upgrade to the new lifetime license?
Should we move pieces? Do backup and then instruct our new installation fo DA to install the backup?
Any thoughts and ideas would be helpful.
