Migration from cPanel

Hi,

I'm migrating a server from cPanel to DA. One site is causing issues. All the files and most of the directories in "public_html" are missing. Additionally the file created by the cpanel_to_da.sh script is half the size of the cpmove file (5,431,718,134 vs 11,474,102,281). The script ran without errors but something is very obviously wrong.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might be going on? Is there a verbose log or can one be generated?

Thanks for any assistance.

Jeff

Actually I just re-ran it and there was an error. My mistake. The error is:

tar: The following options were used after any non-optional arguments in archive create or update mode. These options are positional and affect only arguments that follow them. Please, rearrange them properly.
tar: --exclude ‘cpbackup-exclude.conf’ has no effect
tar: --exclude ‘.cphorde’ has no effect
tar: --exclude ‘.gemrc’ has no effect
tar: --exclude ‘.contactemail’ has no effect
tar: --exclude ‘.lastlogin’ has no effect
tar: --exclude ‘.cpanel’ has no effect
tar: --exclude ‘tmp’ has no effect
tar: --exclude ‘ssl’ has no effect
tar: --exclude ‘logs’ has no effect
tar: --exclude ‘.zshrc’ has no effect
tar: --exclude ‘.cpaddons’ has no effect
tar: --exclude ‘cpanel3-skel’ has no effect
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors

I'm still not sure what to do about it though ...

If your license has support included - I'd suggest you opening a ticket and providing access to the server or just providing access to the cpbackup file.

We did a server migration a couple of weeks ago from cPanel and none of the database users came through. A lot of manual work :(

Looks like it was a bug in the script
Kind of, it didn't expect subdomains to use public_html of the main domain.. As domain pointers/aliases should be used for this, not subdomains with custom docroots :) It's been fixed to support this though.
