Having same problem here too... and when I try to set limits on the admin account, the setting changes don't stick. Everything just goes back to unlimited.

Hello,

1) The bars will be hidden if the limit is set to unlimited.

2) regarding settings not taking effect, you're likely changing your Reseller limits on the "admin" account, but checking the "User" limits at the User level (or vice versa). Make sure you're editing the actual level you want to be editing.

Admin Level -> List Admins -> admin -> admin's User data -> modify User admin -> set it for User limits.

John

The user limits on the admin account are settable, but not the reseller limits... I checked both

I want to be able to see those bars at all levels (if possible). I certainly want to see the total usage of all users and resellers, along with all the bandwidth. I want to be able to set the limits at the reseller level as well.

To edit admin's Reseller limits, go to:

Admin Level -> List Admins -> admin -> Modify Reseller admin -> set bandwidth/disk limits there.

Just an FYI though, that it's very risky to set a limit of any sort on the admin user. This is because if you go over your limit and are set to be suspended at your limit, you're now locked out of your own server ;)

I did that, but the new values don't stick. How can I make the settings stick?

I'll make sure that it won't suspend the account even if I go over the limit (thanks!)

I'm not quite sure why they wouldn't stick.

In any case, you can just edit the files directly if you want:

/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/admin/reseller.conf
/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/admin/user.conf

interesting, the user one sticks... but the reseller one doesn't. I edited directly as you recommended, and sure enough, it worked.

BUT... if I change anything then it all goes back to unlimited. So really, the only way for me to edit the reseller level is to do it directly in that fiile.

Still won't stick, it's been a while and wondering why this would occur.
