Mod Security + Comodo Rules Plugin error

Hi,
after I enter in admin level to Comodo WAF 2.15
I got the following error:

Web Application Firewall | Free ModSecurity Rules from Comodo
Undefined subroutine &main::is_standalone called at /usr/local/cwaf/web/cwaf_sharedlib.pl line 125.

any suggestion?

Please post your issue in https://forums.comodo.com/free-modsecurity-rules-comodo-web-application-firewall-b223.0/. Comodo WAF is a 3rd party plugin, but I'm sure they'll fix it soon after report

It's a known issue with Perl 5.20+ which has been reported 3 months ago, but still no fix.

directadmin comodo plugin error

I'm getting an modsecurity error in directadmin does anyone know how to fix this i already created an symlink but this isnt working either

Does anymore has an idea how to fix this eror, on 4 other servers with same specs and conf it was installed without problems

It is almost 2021 same issue same solution Debian 10.7

perl is just 5.28.1

ln -s /usr/local/cwaf/modules/CPAN/lib/Comodo/ /usr/local/share/perl/5.28.1/Comodo

Solution is to run bash /usr/local/cwaf/scripts/uninstall_cwaf.sh and then ./build modsecurity_rules Works on Debian 10.x Uninstall instructions are here https://help.comodo.com/topic-212-1-514-5939-.html

Seems that I'm the only Debian Fan that uses comodo rules so I'm Hijacking this thread to support it

For Debian 11 (Fresh Install from a LXC template)
