mod_pagespeed problems

I have installed the mod_pagespeed module using this tutorial:

The install went just fine but I've noticed error in /var/log/httpd/error_log:

The directory is chmodded 777.
I must say I use the module mod_ruid2.

how does the module run with you guys? Anyone got a solution for this problem?

According to this http://code.google.com/p/modpagespeed/issues/detail?id=635 it just won't work nice due to different owners wanting to access the same dirs. It is suggested there to use memcached, maybe it can be a solution for you as well.
